George L. Frongetta  March 16, 1942 - March 26, 2005

Bergen - George L. Frongetta, 63, of Bergen, an avid outdoorsman who especially liked to golf and fish and mow his lawn, died Saturday (March 26, 2005) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

He was born March 16, 1942, in Batavia, a son of the late Louis and Grace Mitchell Frongetta. He was retired from Kodak, where he worked for more than 30 years. He was a member of St. Nicholas Social Club in Batavia.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sharon A. Langmaid Frongetta of Bergen; two sons, Joseph Frongetta of New Hampshire and Anthony Frongetta of Bergen; a daughter, JoAnn (Robert) Fleming of Le Roy; a brother, Robert (Carol) Frongetta of Batavia; a sister, Ann (Jon) Van Tassel of Georgia; four grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Gilmartin Funeral Home, 329 West Main St., Batavia, where services will follow. Burial will be in Stone Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. A memorial and guest registry are at www.gilmartinfuneralhome.com.
