Douglas W. Didget  August 11, 1942 - April 18, 2006

BATAVIA -- Douglas W. Didget, 63, of Batavia, a former machine operator at Deluxe Tool and Dye in Batavia, died Tuesday (April 18, 2006) at Park Ridge Hospital, Rochester.

Mr. Didget was born Aug. 11, 1942, in Batavia, the son of the late Walter W. and Betty Ellis Didget. He was an avid bowler for more than 40 years and enjoyed spending time in his garden. A veteran, he served with the U.S. Army for 15 years and earned the rank of sergeant class 8.

Survivors include his two children, Dennis W. (Kimberly S.) Didget of Le Roy and Darnelle Didget of California; three sisters, Sandra Didget of Tennessee, Anna (Salvatore) Russo of Le Roy and Adele (Roberrt) Landin of Basom; two granddaughters, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and close and personal friends.
