Jo Ann was in my close circle of friends. Slumber parties at Sandy Parker's.  How Mr Parker got any sleep I'll never know.  After her marriage she babysat my first born son as Ron and I were at my sisters wedding.  Then we went to my first Broadway show and The Worlds Fair in 1965 NYC.  A great friend we latter took our young families to Niagara Falls when Rowena was home from CA.  I remember her Donald and my Dean on the bridge into Canada.  They wanted to have one foot on the line in the USA and their other foot in Canada.  I think they were about 7.  We lost track of each other a bit as she battled dementia.  A good friend is always missed.  Jo Ann is the 3rd within this past year we lost from our core group.  First Dottie McCoy Rowcliffe, then Roxie King Choate, and finally Jo Ann.  It has been a very hard year for me.  My condolences go out to all 3 of their families.

Very sorry to hear of Jo Ann's death and of the dementia she suffered before the end.  She was a good and kind friend.
